Kate Crackernuts
A Convuloted Fairy Tale by Shelia Callaghan

*In order to maintain the authenticity of the playwright's original vision, I have decided to double certain roles as closely as possible to her intentions while minimizing changes, as allowed by the licensing company.

I have only included the core characters in the cast list I've provided, but there are additional opportunities for involvement:

Regarding the rave/club scenes, all those who auditioned are welcome to participate, with some potentially having a few minor lines. These roles will be integrated into the production closer to the show date. If you are interested in taking part, please let me know. These roles will require a low level of commitment and promise to be a lot of fun! Additionally, I am actively working to incorporate dancers from local dance troupes to enhance the visual impact of the rave scenes, including some minor choreography for an ethereal effect.

To the members of the cast:

Our rehearsal schedule may be a bit unconventional, as I've taken into account the unique conflicts on your calendars. This means that some rehearsals will fall on weekends. Fortunately, given the relatively small cast size required for this show, and the fact that many scenes only involve a few characters at once, there will be many instances when some you will be called to work with me one-on-one or in small group settings.

I will be reaching out to each of you soon to discuss potential times for some initial monologue work this week. Additionally, I'd like to aim for a full cast read-through this upcoming weekend. Rest assured, I will be working on a comprehensive schedule in the days to come.
